When a young John wishes for his teddy bear to come alive his wish is granted – except as they grow into adulthood their relationship poses difficulties for John’s love life with girlfriend Lori.

This is such a well thought through film. It not only captures the essence of childhood versus maturing into childhood, but also the growing up we all have to do along the way. The comedy set-ups are very funny, as you would expect with a film like this. However, Ted doesn’t go down the route of being a family film, oh no. Instead it goes streaking through the grown-up film, with Ted making up for his lack of equipment ‘downstairs’ with other lewd behaviour. Definitely one to watch people.
