Movie Review Summary
Ok, so there’s very few of the actual cast from the films in this (Samuel L, Anthony Daniels and Christopher Lee have a bit of a role), does it suffer for it? No, not really. The flaw is in the over-childish adaptation of a story that has already been made more childish by its prequels. There was a reason this wasn’t targeted an adult generation like me (and I’m guessing you) – it was because they wanted to put out a half-baked film that didn’t need actors. On that basis, it was a success. As part of one of the greatest stories of all time, it’s a real disappointment.
