Movie Review Summary
This is a nice film, it has some good attributes to it and it certainly is touching. There are a number of reasons why I can’t rate it any higher though. The filmography for a start looks so dated, you’d think this was shot in the 1980s, not 2003. There’s a lack of closeness with the characters, we don’t really get under the skin but dance around on the surface. There’s certainly chemistry between Jessica Alba and Hugh Dancy on screen but that alone wasn’t enough to carry this film into people’s hearts. It’s worth a watch, but you probably won’t want to watch a second time.
