The Campaign

Movie Synopsis

When two money-hungry, unscrupulous CEOs spot an opportunity to oust a congressman and put their own candidate forward we get a bitter, warts-and-all election campaign.

Movie Review Summary

It’s basically “The Manchurian Candidate” meets “Anchorman”, with National Lampoon thrown in for good measure. There’s some good funny moments in here, some irrelevant ones, but not enough of a good story to make it one to stick on your list. Fans of Will and Zach may have a liking for it, especially Will as this is his kind of comedy. It’s a pity that it’s a wasted opportunity that goes for some of the easier routes rather making it a clever comedy, but that you pay your money and that’s what it is.
