Wall Street 2

Movie Synopsis

Movie Review Summary

Wall Street 2 could have been a classic, just like the first one. Gekko is still a character quoted to this day. Shia is an actor who’s on top form, just like his character in the film. But this film felt too part-baked. Too confusing in places and trying to play too many cards and run too many plots. Often it’s not clear what the real motives are, and whether the fake ones are genuine, or not. Oh, and Carey Mulligan’s character is a just big ball of confusion played by somebody who could be smiling or crying in hysteria it’s so hard to accurately judge what’s going on.
